    Foreign Exchange Students

Now accepting “welcome” host families Short term commitment of 6-8 weeks.

Looking for loving host families for foreign exchange students 15 – 18 years of age, arriving end of August. You can make a difference in a young person’s life. They attend your local high school, come with their own spending money and health insurance, and most take the school bus. This is not a travel plan. It is a cultural exchange. They just want to see how people live here in America and improve their English skills. This is a really fun, educational thing to do. Our family has been hosting for 14 years. They quickly become a part of your family. It has been a great experience. We currently have over 20 kids needing homes in August. They are waiting to be told that a loving American family has picked them. They are from many different countries including Germany, Brazil, Vietnam, Thailand, Spain, and Italy. You pick the student that best fits your family. You don’t need teenagers in the home and they can share a room. I’d love to give you more information about what it is like to host a student. Contact me at 361-288-3898 or smhicks@stx.rr.com
