STUDENT MINISTRY OUR PURPOSE & PLAN
Welcome to the 6-12 grade student ministry at Annaville Baptist Church! We are glad you are here! Our purpose is simple: LOVE GOD and LOVE PEOPLE (Matt 22). Our plan is also simple: make followers of Jesus Christ (Matt 28). This will make a real difference in the world! Here's what we do, and here's how students, parents, and leaders can get involved...

WEDNESDAY NIGHT
A great time for students to come together, eat snacks, have fun, and learn more about God. The entire 6-12 grade student ministry meets together as one big group, and it’s a great chance for students to bring their 6-12 grade friends who don’t know God or aren’t connected to the church. We open up the Student Room (Y100, 2nd Floor of the church) each Wednesday at 6:00pm so the students can hangout, eat snacks, and have fun. From 6:30-7:30pm we come together to worship, pray, and learn about God in creative and understandable ways.
We're about to start a brand new series for July 2010 called WORSHIP: MADE TO WORSHIP (Known Series from Lifeway). Most students think that worship is limited to singing a few songs at church, but is that all there is? In this series we will explore what worship is (Week 1), what our attitude in worship should be (Week 2), how we can express worship (Week 3), and when we should worship (Week 4). Come join us this Wednesday Night!
SUNDAY MORNING
A great time for 6-12 grade students to grow closer as a church and grow deeper in their faith. The students gather in their own groups—guys, girls, middle schoolers, and high schoolers—and do a small group Bible Study that reinforces what we learned about on Wednesday.
This is their chance to go deeper into the Bible, ask questions about faith and life, and talk about whatever is going on in their week—with their own age and gender. Our adult leaders mentor and guide each small group. We meet Sundays from 9:30-10:45am—high school guys (Room Y100, Student Room - 2nd floor at ABC Church), high school girls (Room Y100), middle school guys (Y109), and middle school girls (Y102, Inside the Student Room). Come joins us this Sunday Morning!
MONTHLY EVENTS
A great time for 9-12 grade students to do something out of the ordinary, whether it be a special hangout event, retreat, camp, mission trip, or ministry activity. We will announce those events in advance, on this webpage and through our Weekly Student Email.
